Imagine 6 hours of sleep in 5 days. YES I SURVIVED THAT. NBS Camp was a total blast! KOSAC rocks!

Back with more updates after my CAC Camp. Stay tuned!

Friday, June 26, 2009
The very fact that it has been ages since I last blogged gave me a little hindrance when I attempted to log in to blogger just now as I actually forgotten my password. -.- haha. And I reckon that many of you have already stopped visiting my site due to my persistant indolence to update my blog. Ok ok I know what to do.... *giving myself a tight slap on my face* Lol.

So here you go! Firstly I would say that the past 2 weeks have been marvelous! :D Not only did I managed to get my well-deserved sleep and rest, I had a great time meeting up with peeps and enjoying myself to the fullest. Yeah, workless life rocks! :D

Here's a quick overview of what I did:

13/06 (Sat)

Picnic at Chinese/Japanese Garden with py, kh, hq, pc. And as usual, py, hq and pc were late! -_- On the courtesy of the chips, pancakes, jellys that were brought, they were spared from the punishment from me and kh. *evil grins :P So basically, the 5 of us had a great time out there with the fishes, tortoises, flowers and sheepo (pc pet society's pet). And I think it's a great place to go dating next time. :) We saw couples taking their wedding photos there. Come on, where else can wedding photos be taken in the baby Spore beside the usual botanic garden. And we headed to Science Centre in the late evening and chilled out at mac. :D

Peiyi's lovely card for me! so sweet of her right? Thanks for the effort :D

14/06 (Sun)

A day at home doing housework. :)

15/06 (Mon)

Kbox with Rachel and Peiyu cus it was rachel's birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHUU! To cut the story short, Have our lunch at a Jap place and the 3 of us went on to sing our lungs out until we were dead tired at the end of the session. >,<

16/06 (Tue)

Tutee in the morning and then made a trip down to NTU (my future school, hee) to submit some documents. hem, it was my 14187873934897th time getting lost there and poor me and peiyu have to endure the >30 mins walk up the hill to make it to the Student Service Centre (when it's only a 5mins short walk from the bus stop) Nvm, good to explore the campus before school starts- only way to comfort myself.

17/06 (Wed)

Library session with py and rac (supposingly to increase our general knowledge). I borrowed 2 books- a Jap book and 'Vocabulary for the Dummies'. I find the latter book rather interesting as there are alot of English structures, patterns etc that I still don't know despite having studied EL for 15 years- yes, the right book for dummy like me -.- Before leaving, we went to the children's session to take some photos. Here's one of the few that we took. No you're not wrong, we are 19 years old adults. haha.

18/06 (Thu)

Lunched at Asian Kitchen, Shopping therapy @ Bugis. Stocking up clothes for uni! lala~

19/06 (Fri)

Michelle's farewell @ Sakura. Ronald picked me up and drove me there and the overly-suspicious me kept having the wild thought that he's going to sell me away. haha, apologies! So it was a time of gaining pounds again. lol.

20/06 (Sat)

Dental appointment in the morning and the dentist complimented on my straight set of clean teeth. heehee :D Less than 5 minutes of check up but it cost me $50! No wonder so many people dying to study dentistry. Met up with Shirley for shopping at Vivo. 50% sale for Mango. gosh, we heart Mango!

21/06 (Sun)

A simple Fathers' Day dinner. This year, I bought a yellow polo tee for my papa and my younger bro bought him a orangey red one. Glad it's of the right size because my younger bro bought him too small a size. Conclusion: Woman's sixth sense is always accurate. haha.

22/06 (Mon)

I missed out the feasting at jap marche but managed to meet up with the ladies for shopping at citylink, marina sq, suntec. And I broke caiyun's record on that day; bcus I didn't spend a single cent (except on drinks and food) Bravo!

23/06 (Tue)

Tutee in the morning and then went for facial to pamper myself. Hee. Though the extractions might get quite painful, it's still within my threshold level. :) If you're thinking that you or me are still too young to go for such treatments, just to share with you that the girl beside me was only 16 years old! It's always good to start early yea. Afterall, I believe in estee lauder's saying that 'there are no ugly woman, only lazy ones'. :)

24/06 (Wed)

Accompanied peiyu to cut her hair at fareast and then went to this sakura place at the 4th level (if I'm not wrong) for lunch. Food's there not too bad and the price there is pretty reasonable. It's our 2nd time there and we'll definitely patronise the restaurant again.

25/06 (Thu)

Went over to my uncle's house to play with my little cousin (OMG she's simply adorable!) as well as to coach my pri 1 cousin zhiyang. Went JP to look for my mum for dinner and I've made up my mind to get this incredibly beautiful laptop! $$$$$$

26/06 (Fri)- Today

Bro's gf came over to my house in the morning and he ponned school to go out with his gf! which explains why I get to use his laptop at this point of time.

Ok finally, a round of applause for I have finished updating. yeah!

On a final note, a list of upcomings:

29/06- medical checkup at ntu
03/07- collect cert at njc, Mingli's 18th Bd!
07/07- Jieshi's BD!
06/07 to 08/07- Bizioacctiv3 camp! (not sure whether I'm going)
15/07- Peicheng's BD!
17/07- shir's and steven's BD!
18/07-Xinyu's BD!
20/07 to 24/07- NBS orientation camp!
27/07 to 31/07- Cultural Camp or Sports Camp (still unsure which to go)
31/07- Online matriculation.
03/08 to 07/08- NTU Welcome Week!

I'm sure these will keep me occupied for the next couple of weeks. :)

Oh yea! Some photos taken on Ronald's BDay celebration (Photos credit to weijie) :D

The below shots of me were just some out of the many taken by wj w/o my consent! 7/10 photos taken are on me. I'm going to sue him for that! HAHAHA!

my strawberries are yummy yum! :)

Saturday, May 30, 2009
GOOD MORNING GUYS!

I’m back by popular demand! HAHAHA. (Smirking)

Apologies for the late updates. Reason being, number 1, I don’t have my own laptop yet. Note the underlined. I’ll be getting my own laptop ‘soon’ probably before uni commences which means I don’t have to plead with my bro to let me use his laptop ever again! HEHEHE. I want a RED lappy! :D :D :D

And number 2, on days when I’m working, the first thing that came to mind when I returned home is to do a quick bath, have a swift dinner, and head for my BEDBEDBED! Using the computer at work the whole day simply turns me off any electronic devises when I get home. Ok, call me pig but seriously, work is tiring and on weekends, I just feel like spending time alone, because I’ve been suffering from severe “my-own-time deficiency “ lately. Oh well, it’s another 2 more weeks at work and I’m free again. Time to do a wardrobe makeover and a little revamping of my room. Mum just promised me to bring me to ikea tomorrow to get me a book shelve, a studying lamp and studying chair. YEAH!

And yes, the spirit of Great Singapore Sale seems to be hovering around the atmosphere now. It’s the time of the year to get some really cheap deals and savings again. PEIYU, RACH LET’S GOOO! HAHHAHA. I’ve drafted out a list of to-buy things for this GSS and it amounted to approx $500! GOSH. PLEASE HOLD ME BACK.

As for my uni application, I’ve accepted the offer by ntu business and I’ll officially be an ntu undergraduate in 2 mths time. No more hesitation anymore. With NTU, I am engineered for success. HAHA, sounds familiar yea? And I’m so looking forward for all the camps coming up. I will most probably be going for their freshman orientation on 3rd aug, their sports camp, and biz camp in july. The rest I think I shall give it a miss because I will suffer from miss-my-bed sickness. :x I am glad to have 2 of my dearest friends -PEIYU and JUNE joining me and being my faculty mates. HEHE.

With regards to my 19th birthday this year, I would say that it’s awesome! Although the peeps whom I expected to celebrate with didn’t do so, leaving me with a tiny whiny tinge of disappointment, I got some really amazing people who dated me to throw me a mini surprise. Thanks so much for showering me with the gifts, treats, cards, and wishes!

Here’s a sneak appetizer for your viewing pleasure.

Dinner with ex-moe colleagues@ douby gaut mad jack and then headed to esplanade to chill out. It has been so longgg since I have had some good food. :)

Faizal is still as humorous as before and look at what he portrayed of me! It reads 'Be hydrate!' I swear I laugh till my ribs pain that day.

ohyes, thanks weijie for initiating the whole gathering. I’m glad that I’m still not forgotten despite having left moe for so long. Heh heh, great company!

And this my birthday present from them: GUESS wallet! -,-

weijie, faizal, ronald, jieshi, calvin, steven, jieshi's bf- THANK YOU!

And a few more past events that spell my month:

#1 Some crazy fun out with rac, py and army boy @ imm.
#2 Lunch treat from biaojie at bugis pasta mania.

#3 Ktv with kwan, val, nora, keelui, saecheong, pc at Chinatown.

#4 badminton with xinyu, chong, kwan with xueqi and joyce as spectators at jwsc

#5 Ntu biz high tea with kahhwee

#6 college day and pizza hut with amy, jennings, step and yuping

Many thanks to my family for celebrating with me the night. Though it’s just a simple dinner, it’s a relief from the purchase orders, payment receipts, accounts that I’ve read the whole day at work. And bro for buying me that BLACK FOREST CAKE- his gf’s fav. LOL.

我知道你们对我的爱不是用言语来表达的, 那是一种默默的包容,爱护和体谅. 你们让我意识到爱不需要任何的奢侈和伪装,它也能只是简简单单的一句祝福。谢谢你们!

More upcoming events !! Till then, take care! :D

I'm heading out to buy my hokkien mee for lunch now. heh heh.

On 12th may 1990, eve of mother's day, a baby girl named caiyun was brought to this beautiful world - to fufill her purpose on this earth, to bring abundant joy and love to the people around her. And now that she's transforming from a girl to a woman, she knows that the wrinkles and white hair are knocking on the door. SHOO SHOO! hahaha.
At this juncture of her life now, in a a 19 years old girl woman wishlist would definitely be... :D :D :D :D :D :D

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have taken the effort to wish me a happy birthday in any single way... pardon me if I miss out anyone of you! >.<

The figures are daunting.

THE World Health Organization has raised its tally of confirmed human cases of swine flu to 615 from 365.

There have been 17 confirmed deaths.

The global body says 15 countries have now reported laboratory-confirmed cases.

Mexico has reported 397 cases and 16 deaths.

The United States has 141 cases and one death.

Canada has 34 cases, while Spain and Britain have 13 each.

New Zealand and Germany have four confirmed cases each, Israel has two, and Austria, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, South Korea and Switzerland each have a case, according to the latest WHO figures on Saturday.

And now that the pandemic has hit Asia, I doubt I can ever get out of this red dot already. :( :( :(

It has been 5 months of post A'Level's activities, but I feel that I have so much and so much more that I want to do before school work starts rolling in again! While cramming hard for the A's last year, I came out with a list of post A's activities as a source of motivation but there's only 3 months left and I have only accomplished about 50% of the tasks. From travelling, picking up new skills eg baking & make-up, learning new language, getting my driving license, doing lots of sports, wardrobe makeover, doing voluntary work, reviving my bank account balance, dancing, to simply meeting up with friends and feeling loved. I recalled how this list of activities will parade through my mind while I am trying to remember all the organic compounds and their reactions, all the physics formula etc and I will get so excited over it that my friends will sometimes think I'm mad! haha :D

And while I am typing this, I just can't help to say that there are so much more that I want to accomplish in life before I die. And if tomorrow I were to be knocked down by a car (touch wood!), I would really die in regret because of my 19yrs of life, I can safely claim that 80% of it has been devoted to studies. I have yet to establish a career, find my love, travel around the world with him, get married, give birth, see my children grow up. haha, I think 我想太多了吧!(knocking myself on my head)

But sometimes I would really wish if I were....

- borned in a rich family that I can afford all the things in mind w/o having to worry about money
- as smart as saecheong that I don't have to study so much and yet do well for my studies
- to have the capability to set up my own shop
- pretty
- never to grow fat no matter how much I eat
- to marry to a prince (haha!)

不要再发白日梦了!

Happy Labour Day – though not really joyous for me this year simply because I’m still sick! I have been bumming around at home for the past 1 week, quarantining myself and diligently taking my medicine and yet the virus still refused to leave me! TELL ME HOW? But I made an exception ytd to go for my tutees because the girls are having their common test/midyr exam soon! I hope that I have prepared them well and that they will do well for their papers. And most importantly, I did not spread the virus to them! >.<

Sorry for this really random post, jumping my topics suddenly, just typing down whatever that came to my mind. haha.

And yes, I'm finally starting work tomorrow, albeit only until mid june. I will be a good girl and turn in early today because I have to wake up at 6.30am from now on! I wonder how I am going to pull myself out of my bed!
